[A] System Requirements

Macintosh:
PowerPC (604), G3 or G4
System - 8.1 or higher
Memory - minimum 32 MB available RAM, 64 MB recommended
Monitor - 16 or 24 bit color
CD-ROM Drive - 4X speed or faster
Software- Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher, installer provided
QuickTime 4.1.2 provided on CD-ROM

Windows:
Pentium II or higher
System - Windows 95/98

[B] How to Start This CD-ROM
-------------------------------------------------------------

Macintosh:
Open CD titled "Voyager 2000", double click on the 
"Voyager" icon to start.  

Windows:
Open CD titled "Voyager 2000", double click on the 
"Voyager.exe" icon to start.

[C] Known Issues
-------------------------------------------------------------

Problem:  The sound sometimes does not play smoothly.

Platform: Both

Solution:  This is a performance issue.  There will be glitches or
               sometimes drop-outs in the sound when the program
               is accessing other information from the CD-ROM.
               This problem is more pronounced on slower machines.


Problem:  If you do not hear sound in the QuickTime movie(s), but
          the sound is playing elsewhere.

Platform: Windows

Solution: Go to Start Menu --> Settings --> Control Panel.  Open up
          the QuickTime control panel.  Go to "Sound Out" option, then select
          "waveOut" as the QuickTime playback device.


Problem:  The program does not print, but gives an error message.

Platform: Windows

Solution:  If you have the Acrobat Distiller installed, close the Distiller
                and try again.  If you are still having problem with the
                print function, either uninstall Acrobat Distiller or download 
                the file and print it later with Acrobat Reader or Acrobat.


Problem:  The volume adjustment does not work.

Platform: Windows

Solution:  If the computer's master sound control is muted, you 
               must turn the mute off before starting the program.

               The program will not be able to control certain sound
               cards.
